What types of yoga do you teach?

I teach what I know and like which is Vinyasa-based (movement) yoga at a beginner/intermediate level.  I teach to people in office environments (Yup, I was part of the corporate world for nearly a decade), beginners at home, pregnant women, and parents with infants or toddlers.

What is a Health Coach?

A Health Coach is someone who will education, guide, and when needed push you towards a healthier lifestyle.  A Health Coach holds you accountable and gives you the tools to not only reach but exceed your health goals.

I’m stiff and inflexible.  Are some body types just not meant to do yoga?

No, yoga is for every body.  If you can sit and lay, you can do yoga.  Everyone can benefit from even just a few simple poses.

Do I really need to exist off of green juice and granola to be healthy?

Hell, no!  I’m actually not a big fan of green juice (I prefer to eat and chew my veggies) and believe that nutritious food should taste good.  I’ll help you find healthy whole foods that satisfy and delight your individual palate.

What if I don’t have time to visit a yoga studio or gym several times a week?

That’s not a problem.  I can help you develop a simple at-home yoga practice no matter how little space or time your have.  Customized at-home yoga is something that I’ve been teaching for years and have taught in tiny NYC apartments, office buildings, and Texas-sized mansions.  You can always fit yoga into your schedule even if it’s only a few 15 min sessions a week.  I’ll show you how.

Can this help me lose weight?

Definitely!  By learning to eat wisely, move your body, and let go of stress, weight will come off without intensity or deprivation.  Developing healthy habits will do wonders for your waistline.
